What is Professional Indemnity Insurance?
Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance is designed to cover individuals and businesses engaged in professional services for claims of alleged negligence, omission, error or breach of professional duty.
In the sporting world, this predominantly means it is for coaches, but PI is also useful for management consultants such as sporting events. Providing first aid training as part of your activities is another example of when you should consider getting PI insurance.
